Mission:
The mission of LFAEYC is to promote high standards for professional
practice in Early Childhood Education programs.
To fulfill its mission, LFAEYC will:
- Encourage membership in NAEYC, VAECE and LFAEYC
- Seek out highly qualified presenters to facilitate diverse
training for Early Childhood Education professionals in our
area, 8 hours/year
- Develop electronic communication tools to increase our advocacy
role
Opportunities for involvement:
- Seasonal conferences and seminars that encourage best practices
in Early Childhood settings
- Service on the local board, including committee and conference
work
- Events that encourage professional networking
